Music playground supports the school's academic and social development
At Østervangskolen in Hadsten, one of Denmark's largest outdoor music playgrounds has been established. The colorful area with drums, xylophones, marimbas and rainbow-colored chimes is used both in academic teaching and as an activity area during recess. The students get a natural approach to the musical instruments, while also getting fresh air, exercise and new communities across classes and years.

Music for the entire community
The music playground at Østervangskolen is more than just a place for students – it has become a gathering point for the entire local community. The instruments' central location in front of the school makes them easily accessible to children, families and passersby, who often stop to create music and fellowship.
